and Cheryl Womble. Whether small cell groups or large mixed groups, specific Bible subjects can be adapted for

Prayer

Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God.

We believe that prayer is essential for the development of the church through corporate and individual prayer and
when used effectively enables the church as a body to grow spiritually.  Please join each Wednesday evening
between 7:45 - 8:45 for scripture and  prayer.  Contact
Pastor, (410) 699-1977 for additional information

                                                Our Pastor

Minister Wendell Womble was invited to become pastor of Campus
Christian Church during the summer of 2003 by the original church
core group. He was liscensed in January 1998 and formally ordained
and installed on September 12, 2004. He is a graduate of American
Univeristy and has been a student of Capital Bible Seminary and is
presently pursuing a master degree in divinity.  Minister Womble is
supported in this campus ministry by his wife, Cheryl, whom the Lord
has blessed them through their marriage since 1971.

Nichelle, truly a gift from God, is their only child.  Minister Womble's
ministry has deep roots in the church which stems back to his early
childhood. His parents, being obedient to the Holy Spirit, taught and
exposed him to Sunday School, church, Vacation Bible School, the
Baptist Teacher's Union (BTU) and other ministries of the church.
It was during these early years that Minister Womble
gave his heart to the Lord and accepted a life that was
ordained by God! His biblical reference to his present
day ministry is found in
I Peter 4:11, "If any man
speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man
minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:
that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus
Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and
ever. Amen."

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our
Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the
sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to His own purpose
and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before
time began
